What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a science based on the principal that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears that relate to all parts of the body. By using only the thumbs and fingers on these reflex areas the nerve endings are stimulated, reducing tension and stress, allowing the body to remove blockages and wastes that create disease.
How does Reflexology work?
The session begins with first some relaxing techniques on the feet; a firm comopression massage is used on the feet working the different body systems. You may feel a sensitive area; this signals that something abnormal is taking place in your body. Stimulating these areas will break down the congestion and help the body to expel them.
(Reflexology applies pressure onto particular areas of the feet creating a reflex action in another part of the body which is stimulated by the manipulation of each specific area.)
